Client spotlight: Emma Gatrill

Through the power of friends (thanks, Toby!), I was introduced to Emma Gatrill & Marcus Hamblett - whose paths, we worked out, may well have crossed in my previous lifetime as in-house booker for The Boileroom; and our respective work promoting and playing for the likes of Lucy Rose, Rozi Plain, and This is The Kit - it’s a small world, eh! 

We secured £3000 from Help Musicians Recording & Releasing grant programme so that Emma’s third album, Come Swim, releasing via Wilkommen Records in November this year; can finally be heard (and universally loved, I have no doubt) by the world. You can catch her live next on 15th July at Horsenden Farm alongside The Leisure Society Trio, Janice Burns & Jon Doran, & Benedict Benjamin.
